This realization inspired us to create LUMIBEE—natural cosmetics infused with high-quality bee products, valuable oils, and sustainably sourced active ingredients. LUMIBEE is a natural continuation of a long-held family tradition of beekeeping for both of us. Bees are vital symbols of life and guardians of the Earth, which is why propolis extract was among the key healing ingredients we integrated into our first skincare products: a soothing and hydrating face oil and a cleansing oil for makeup removal. Our love for nature and the preservation of its diversity are at the core of our ideals. With every order you make, we plant two honey trees. Thanks to your support, we've planted 2,500 honey trees so far. We partner with Gorata.bg, who has planted over 250,000 honey trees, aiding beekeepers and honeybees in Bulgaria.
Our packaging...
We use glass bottles because they can be recycled multiple times. We rely on your support for a cleaner future, which is why we kindly ask you to recycle your bottles! The plastic we use is essential for the functionality of the packaging. However, when we consider the entire life cycle, we can find advantages in plastic compared to glass. Our transport boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard, and the ink on our bottles is also compliant with recycling requirements. For secondary packaging, we use special paper. In the production of this paper, 15% of the pulp is replaced by agro-industrial waste products from citrus fruits. The additives used give the paper its special surface color and feel without limiting the printing and processing options. Furthermore, it is produced using 100% self-generated green energy and contains 40% recycled fibers. All of these measures together lead to a 20% reduction in the carbon footprint. All these decisions reflect our promise "For your skin. For our Earth." at every step of production.
